Effective July 20, 2012, Kentucky prescribers and dispensers authorized to prescribe or dispense controlled substances must be registered with the enhanced Kentucky All Schedule Prescription Electronic Reporting (eKASPER) system in compliance with the new prescription drug law. To facilitate the registration process, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) has implemented a paperless eKASPER registration process. If you currently have a KASPER account, you do not need to re-register. If you are unsure if you have a KASPER account, contact the eKASPER helpdesk at 502-564-2703 or eKASPERhelp@ky.gov. For more information on the KASPER registration process, visit the http://www.chfs.ky.gov/os/oig/KASPER.htm
